In session 25, I go over how to start a real estate team. Many new and less experienced agents are attracted to top agents and teams. I share my thoughts on how to do it correctly and what to watch out for! I also talk about the expectations on both sides of the team.
The main reason anyone would start a team is to buy back their time. Rather than just give leads away for a 25% referral fee, you could start a team and command much more!
It is important when starting a team to consider the following items, both as a team leader and as a team member.
And Remember! Get a contract in place to ensure everyone is on the same page! Nothing worse than having to go to court over a bad partnership.
